 Fortis Invites Microsoft To Share The Platform

Giant healthcare provider Fortis is joining hands with Microsoft India. The latter is expected to provide solutions and services based on the Microsoft platform, and which are aimed at enhancing knowledge management and productivity.

Held by a four-point vision of healthcare- prevention, prediction, personalization and participation, Microsoft solutions will help Fortis Healthcare collaborate on various online processes with the aid of Office and Exchange applications.

Microsoft will also focus towards making documents, workflows, projects and performance management on a common sharePoint portal, which will be accessible by Fortis employees, doctors and nurses across all its centers.

Company productivity and most importantly, patient care is expected to be boosted by the deployment of solutions that bring together diverse patient data from multiple sources and make it instantly available at the point of care.

At the signing the pact, Shivinder M Singh, Managing Director, Fortis Healthcare was quoted: "The association with Microsoft will give us access to latest technologies for better collaboration, amongst all our staff to focus single-mindedly on enhanced patient care".
